you mean that little band called The Beatles? :D

Reason I asked about Bennie and Jets - how many of you when you're "singing it" say electric Boo(b)s or electric BOOTS?

For some reason this thread reminded me of "Blinded by the Light......wrapped up like a douche...:D

Evidently, that is one of the most famous "misquoted" songs:

Here are other popular variations of "revved up like a deuce"

• "Dressed up like a dude, another roller in the night."
• "Wrapped up like a douche, I knew their owner every night."
• "Racked up like a douche, another lover in the night."
• "Wake up like a douche, or a rubber in the night."
• "Torn up like a douche, another stoner in the night."
• "Wrap up the old deuce, a Nutter Butter in the night."
• "Wrapped up like a douche, another rumor in the night."

How does killing the fatted calf make EJ a devil worshiper? Fatted calf is a metaphor or symbol of festive celebration and rejoicing for someone's long-awaited return. It derives from the parable of the prodigal son in the New Testament. In biblical times, people would often keep at least one piece of livestock that was fed a special diet to fatten it up, thus making it more flavorful when prepared as a meal. Slaughtering this livestock was to be done on rare and special occasions. Thus when the prodigal son returns, the father "kills the fatted calf" to show that the celebration is out of the ordinary.

In modern usage, "killing the fatted calf" can simply mean to celebrate in an exuberant manner.
