As much as I respect Dave Campbell, I like this poll much better than the DCTF's poll. I think Texas should be around #10 or so. DCTF has them at #21. I also agree with Tech being ranked at #16.

DCTF just posted the FSN poll in their magazine i think, so w/ respect to DCTF they didn't actually come up w/ it...of course they may take credit if it turns out to be right on and deflect blame if it is horrible, but still, it aint their poll....

It says "The Texas Football/FSN Top 25." Either the staff of both DCTF and FSN got together and decided on the poll or they agree on it. Why else would they label it as such?

UT does have a tough schedule and they still have lots of young but good players. They have done well in recruiting. I think they can have a good year this year and next but I think 2010 has the potential to be a great year for them. We will see.
