Well a good win tonight. I hope we can get over this .500 slump.

Haven't heard from any of the big Astros homers griping at me lately for my preseason prediction that they would finish behind the Rangers this year.

It's June, that's why.

You think June is early? You're preaching to the choir man...

All I have to do as an Astro fan is remember '04, '05 and '06. It's never over until it's over.

That 36-10 closing stretch in '04 still blows my mind.

Of course the pitching was quite a bit better in those years...

Ok. I got all my griping done. Lol. J/k.:D ;)

In all seriousness though, The Astros have been sucking and they DESPERATELY need to get it together.

Notice how they all cited stats to prove their respective points!

I would have, but I know that Go Blue doesn't care about meaningless numbers such as statistics.

I figured he'd get my point better with just a simple reply.

It's way too early to be overly optimistic, and it's way too early to be overly pessimistic about the Rangers this year. I know I like what I've seen thus far, at least since early May. The Rangers starting pitching has been much better than it has been in several years. They're not quite over than proverbial hump yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish around .500 or slightly above this year. If they can get on a roll, they could even challenge for a playoff spot.
