Just kidding...I just wanted someone to read one of my posts and realignment usually draws the most readers.

Forgive me please.

Mrs. Panther Mom...is there a website somewhere that might have some Liberty Hill highlights on it?

I'm not sure what all is there, but there are some on our maxpreps page. :)

That's easy. It's always Wylie's enrollment plus 1 or 2

Hey Snydertigers...I'm thinking that you are more right than maybe even you think. Several years ago, while talking with the Head Football coach from Wylie (a personal friend by the way), he told me that the realignment numbers for that year were going to be 1 more than Wylie turned in...he was EXACTLY right.

It did actually work out that way about 2 realignments back. Which certainly added fuel to the fire at the time.
I know several people who will swear by it. LOL, I just smile a nod my head to them now. They simply dont know, or dont want to know how the system really works, and will argue till blue in the face if you try to tell them.

Let's just say that the cutoff for 3A will be Abilene Wylie's number +1, and 4A will be Highland Park +1.:evillol: :taunt: :stirpot:

After 28 years of coaching, I've never had a clue...but it many times it looks like the number is the school I'm at minus just enough to keep us in the higher classification.

Read the article in DCTF magazine that explains how they do it.

I will admit that it seems a bit odd that some schools like Wylie and HP seem to be lucky in the draw every year.

The jury is still out on whether I believe its "luck"...or "blessing"...or "insider" information.
