Temple has a good running back, but I still think Plano will win easily.

That might be a good game. I think Newton will take it though. A better game I think will be in Gilmer that night. Liberty-Eylau will be Gilmer's homecoming guest.:stirpot:

LE did lose their all-world player in James, but they always give Gilmer fits. I wouldn't be surprised to see them give Gilmer a good game. They always do, plus the added motivation of them being a homecoming guest......:stirpot: :1popcorn:

Diboll is without a head coach this late. May be a "transition" year. Newton seems to always be tough, whether 3A or 2A.

Have you talked to him about what he thinks the Buckeyes will have this year? They lost a ton of players, especially on offense.

He thinks the defense has a really good chance of being pretty good, thinks O will have alot of quickness but not real sure how good the line is going to be.

That was my thinking. The defense should be pretty salty. They only lost two starters I believe. The offense lost 9 starters, including the entire line. They will be hard to replace, at least early. I think the O-line will be smaller but much quicker. It may take them a few games to come together as a unit, but my guess is they'll be just fine.
