how big of a hit would it be to the cap to let him go?

I'm guessing right around $1 million since that's what his contract is for and his roster bonus counted last year.

The Cowboys are about $8 million under the cap right now, so it wouldn't affect them at all.

Let him go and make Crayton the solid #2. He was great all last season then they throw Terry into the mix and he loses the game

Were any veteran wide receivers cut this month?

I don't remember reading about June 1st cuts like you normally hear about.

Can he not be signed or just not play?

This young man is going to struggle to feed him family, I think Jerry should sign him anyways

Update:

Now Glenn says he wants to remain a Cowboy.

I wonder if the Cowboys went to him and said, "You want your release, Fine! Good luck finding another job in the NFL as a 34 year-old wideout who played all of one game last year with a history of injuries," causing Glenn to rethink.

I think honestly it was more of yesterday he just ws emotional and sounded off before really thinking about his situation

He basically was paid like 8 million last year for two games..His pride was hurt by the offer from Jones and he just sounded off

Oh don't worry, give Jerry a chance. He goes after all the suspended players and trouble-makers. Win at any cost baby.

At least they are still making him some kind of offer. After last year I was really expecting them to let him go.

I would've played 2 games for 8 million last year and told them they could have me for free this year. :D
