Great letter, but nothing new. Those who know have been saying all this till they are blue in the face, but it consistantly seems to fall on deaf ears. But I guess they have to keep saying it, in hopes that the people of this country will finally wake up to reality some day. But sadly, neither McCain or Obama seem to have much of a grasp of reality either. :(

actually come down to Baytown/Pasadena area around the ship channel...ExxonMobil has the world's largest refinery here along with other huge complexes for CheveronTexaco, Shell, BP, etc....

to say they have left the US for "greener pastures" is quite wrong though they have grown their buisnesses to worldwide chains...it'd be like saying McDonalds doesnt know what is going on in the American Fast Food industry because they have stores worldwide even though most of their stores are still in the USA....

on that same note, I wouldnt be surprised if they left in the future if certain taxation policies are put into place...the USA is becoming a very expensive place to run a buisness, thus we see a lot of outsourcing...
