Big grass fire outside Brownwood

Big grass fire at the National Guard Armory on the southside of Brownwood. I live in DFW, but I'm hearing from people that the sky in Brownwood is filled with smoke. My parents live pretty close to the armory, they are putting sprinklers all over their yard getting the grass wet.

It's bad.....real bad! We have about 25-30 units out there fighting it as I type :(

My dad just said the radio said the fire dept has it surrounded, I'm guessing that means it's contained?

They're starting to get a handle on it, but there are some problem areas that keep flaring back up. It has jumped accross the Access Road in one area, and they may have to look at evacuating a small area.

I have friends out there in the same area and they just called and said it was more west of there. They are ok there at this time. I'm sorry I can't give everything exact; I'm having to do so many things at one time right now. I'll try & get better details.
