It was already on sale this past Wednesday at the Wal-Mart at Port Isabel lwhere South Padre Island is just located across the bridge and is where the Pelican West Band play at their place Tuesday through Saturday located just south of the Radisson Hotel.

6/18/08: Hear the roar of the DCTF road tour
Once again, the Rio Grande Valley never fails to deliver the high temperatures both on the thermometer and in terms of football fever.

We had a massive crowd at the Rio Grande Livestock and Rodeo complex in Mercedes last night. Bands, cheerleaders, pep squads, drumline members all made tonight's event one of our all time best. As we left, Mr. Campbell said that while he was sure this was probably one of our best crowds in 10 years of the tour, it was CERTAINLY the loudest. Between the drumline and the band under a metal roof at the rodeo complex, I think we were heard for miles!

We are always tickled when various city and/or school officials are present. I think we had the power trio in Mercedes as we were greeted by the Mayor, School Superintendent, and School Principal (again, note my poor reporting skills for lack of names:)

We are off to visit one of the better nicknamed schools in Texas: the Port Lavaca Calhoun Sand Crabs. See you in Southeast Texas.
