Canyon lost their starting quarterback with a broken leg; most likely for the season. That puts a big "?" mark on the Eagles post-season run IMHO.

That's a crying shame about Canyon's stud QB, Lance McClintock. Canyon's Coach Bryant says he was the best QB he had the pleasure to coach. If the fracture wasn't compound wouldn't he be back at the end of district play? If he's a pocket passer he may be able to take over come playoff time. If he's gone for the season, Canyon's playoff success just went south. Hope this young man has a quick and speedy recovery.

Man! I hate to hear stuff like this. Teams with promise getting key people hurt and losing them for the season really bites it. Here's wishing the young man a complete and speedy recovery.
