Hard for us to compete with CCISD in a popularity contest...If it was between a Sinton athlete and Moody I'd vote Sinton, but it's turned into a two person race and in no way did Moody's ace outplay Calallens this year.
Logan Verrett's stats:
18-0 record, 0.67 ERA, 167 K's to go along with a .455 BA, .677 Slugging, 1.195 OPS, 56 hits, 7 home runs, and 12 stolen bases

It's meaningless, but its fun to mess with those who believed they invented baseball(moody).

It also doesn't help Logan's case (or Patrick's for that matter) that 2 Calallen players were nominated, thus splitting the Wildcats fans vote.

Congrats to all who were nominated, but Logan is definitely the tops of that group

That's just an opinion poll so of course the Moody kid is gonna get the most votes because he's in metro CC. They think of us Cal folks as just a bunch of hicks....which a lot of us are but that's beside the point.;)

Logan should get that award and no one else is really close IMHO.
