Under "Past State Champs" on the home page, I was around and noticed that the Ingleside Mustangs are not listed on there as ever having played in a state title game, and I'm pretty sure they have played in two. I want to say in the 60's. I was wondering if you could confirm that, and if so...wondering how/where/why they were left off the list. Is the list inaccurate or is it just another example of the Sinton propaganda machine that runs this board being up to no good? :D

Thanks amigo.

Looks like 1962 & 1964, both in 1A, both losses

All you had to do was look around a bit :p

I know! I do remember WOS87 putting together one of his cool graphics and Ingleside is on THAT list with their 2 state appearances (see HERE (http://bbs.3adownlow.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76528&highlight=state+champs)) #223

Search feature is your friend :nerd:

You'll feel the same when the 4ADL doesn't give a rip about LH's two state championships in a few seasons.

I need to update this to include the remainder of the results for 2006 and 2007, but for the purposes of your question, this should do.

Ingleside has advanced to play the maximum number of games possible in a season for the classification they were competing in 11 different times, which includes playing in two 1A State Championship games in 1962 and 1964 (as mentioned above) and ALSO playing in 9 Class B Regional Finals in 1939, 1940, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1948, 1953, and 1954 (winning 6 of them), which was as far as one could advance back then in the lowest classification.
