The 2008 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football was released today otherwise known as the bible of Texas high school football.Needless to say the Abilene schools have been placed in very good standings.
Abilene High was picked to finish first in district 3-5A followed by North Crowley, Burleson, Richland, Haltom, Weathorford, and Forth Worth Paschal.
The Cooper Cougars also seeing district realignment as they moved down to class 4A into district 4-4A.
As for the Cooper Cougars they were picked to win the district followed by Wolfforth Frenship, Hereford, Big Spring, Plainview, and rounding off the district San Angelo Lake View.
The Wylie Bulldogs also seeing some realignment. The Bulldogs making their way to District 2-3A. This distict anticipated to be one of the tougher districts in the state for class 3A. Texas Football picked the Brownwood Lions to take the district followed by Snyder, Wylie, Graham, Sweetwater, and Breckenridge.
