4A Cal, GP, and Beeville in the top 25 is not bad, but having PLC at #7 in front of all of them is kind of shocking. :eek: :eek: :eek:

Talking Sandcrabs in preseason or any season for that matter top 25 WOW they have turned that place around.

I was shocked to Aledo so far down in the poll. I take it graduation took it's toll on the team?

PLC has a lot of people comming back from last year. They can run the ball, but they are a little small up front. Same type of offense Liberty Hill runs. Solid on defense. Look out for a linebacker, last name is Boyd. He's a monster and a force to deal with. Dave Cambel's football magazine will be making a stop in Port Lavaca on Wed.

I wish Cuero could of played them this year. I don't know what happened, there were some rumours the two were going to play this year. That would have been good since they are a little closer than some of the other pre-district games Cuero has. Cuero having a tuff time finding pre-district games.

:confused: I thought PLC ran the veer and LH runs the wing-t aren't there some differences in those offenses?? I always knew where the ball was watching PLC, not so with LH.

Not really. Waco actually went 2-8 the year before dropping down if I remember correctly. And they hadn't made playoffs for a few years before that as well. I could be wrong on that second one though.

Plano being #2 in preseason is kind of surprising, new head coach and they are losing like 10 defensive starters they might be as good as #2 by the end of the year but i dont know about now, they do have all everything Rex Burkhead coming back so they will be good
