Wow...looks like he's completely lost it with the Tigers!

Getting demoted is one thing, but getting demoted to Class A? I have a feeling Willis may be pitching in another organization in a few months.

Who do you expect to pick up that contract ... Pitcher Dontrelle Willis reached agreement on a three-year, $29 million contract extension with the Detroit Tigers, two weeks after coming over from Florida in an eight-player trade.

I'm betting someone will take a chance...Mike Hampton, Jason Schmidt, Bronson Arroyo and Eric Gagne are all making more than Willis right now, and they're still around.

If the Tigers eat any of the salary at all...say $5 million off the total, you're looking at a two year, $16 million dollar deal for a guy who once dominated the league and still has plenty of ability.

They just lost Bonderman, possibly for the season, due to a
blood clot. I would say Leyland knows what he's doing but.....
well did anyone else watch that game last night?:(

It (sending a pitcher down from the majors to A ball) worked with Roy Holladay and Edinson Volquez.

Well, he wasn't but he is now. This team has to be one of the
biggest disappointments in the history of MLB. I thought
Detroit's biggest problem was going to be the bullpen with
Rodney and Zumaya recovering from surgery. :(

Can you say Korean minor league? I'm not sure how he could fall that far and not give up.
