Who are everyone's sleepers?? I think Clarksville may be a sleeper to shock 15-3A and maybe not win it but make some noise..I think Gladewater and Wilmer-Hutchins could make a lot of noise in the postseason in Region 2...in Region 3 I think Robinson could do some damage and I think Diboll will exercise some postseason deamons..any others??

Crockett looked pretty good on the 7 on 7 in Lufkin they didn't win the tournement but they were good.QB Ly'Tydrick Riley is one heck of an athlete ha could play WR but if you put someone phisycal on him he will fold but the Dogs might do it. Marlin will reload and should have another great year.I expect Crockett and Evermen to fight to see who goes to the state tittle game they are in both either region 3 amd 4 right.Prediction Crockett state champions thell beat Evernem by 1.Just the way I see it could be totally wrong.

If Crockett goes Division 1 they will be the team to beat in Region 3...but unless Center doesn't make it then Crockett will be Division 2..

Big things should be expected from Gladewater this season. QB Jonny Louvier is a top notch competitor and it looks like little brother and a few others will be more than adequate receivers. This group just knows how to win. If Forney goes D1, Gladewater should be the favorite to survive their side of the 3A-Region 2 bracket and advance to face Commerce in the region 2 Finals. Biggest test could come in Round 2 from former district rival Longview Spring Hill. If Spring Hill's large Offensive Line and Sophomore RB perform as expected, and if one of the QB candidates can handle the leadership role, Spring Hill should have an excellent season. Big test for Panthers will be early season matchup with highly touted 2A Corrigan-Camden, many questions will be answered then.

New Boston will be tougher than they have been in years, but, man what a district. Mt.Vernon wont be as big a surprise as they were last year, but, could win that district. Pottsboro?? I still don't see.

Aledo and Lake Worth will fight it out in their district.

Check the dates on the post...June. Someone brought back an old thread. By the way... I take it that you are a fan of "the Longest Yard".

Im going with the Wharton Tigers as far as region 4.They have a very good qb in Trey Jones,6-0 175 4.5,RB P Fleurinor 6-1 195 4.5 ,and a very good spread offense attack. The only weakness is they have to get better on defense they had a hard time stopping the run last year. They wont have the size they had last year but they could be faster, especally on defense.

oh well

I believe Dist. 26. Cuero in DI will be the favorite and Yoakum in DII. This new Dist. will be one of the best in the State.
