It seems like Derrick said it was hosted on homestead.com or something like that first.

I don't even remember....but for some reason, it seems like I read somewhere that we are in our 8th or 9th year!

My join date on the site was June 12th, 2005. So it will be my 3 year anniversary almost the same day.

The transition to this site from Homestead was around 2003(2004). Homestead was discontinued before that because of the traffic that this site generated. Some of yall might remember during football season how the last few days of October, November and even December, the site would "go down" because of bandwidth problems associated with that free hosting site(before 2003-4). The 3aDownlow had more viewers than posters back then, but still continues to grow.

Derek started a guestbook way before 2001. I used to read it quite a bit. Him and Bearcat and Matthew started this site along with Administrator some time back. Goodness, I wish we could search back that far. Alas we can't. lol

It was pretty much the coolest thing... I remember bearcat1 not being so hot on the idea of someone we didn't know coming in and giving us a domain name and message board through his company (believe it was his company or the one he worked for whatever)... but I talked her into it, and after a long time and some donation drives etc... here we are...

And about me being member #5... fact is, Admin was member #1 and I was #2 to join, why I'm #5 now I do not know...

And as always, I made the first post on here ever..... EVVVVVVVVVVVERRRR!
