how appropriate, too...since it's at the UGLIEST track on the circuit..

and I can say that b/c I grew up in PA, and Pocono was my "home track."

Even with drivers/guys we talk to in the Cup garage, they agree Pocono is bad..even worse, the roads into - and out of - that place are terrible, it takes 5 hours to get out of the track after a race!

it's an independently-owned track and it needs to be demolished. problem is, the fine citizens of New York refuse to agree where to put a race track (Long Island?) so the Pocono "dump" keeps its 2 dates for now..

oh yah - one thing they COULD DO is make it a 400-mile race than a 500-mile race...

Other than that, I have no opinion on the subject...

Yes, I wonder why a track like Pocono gets 2 dates, other than the fact the track's owner is in tight with the France family.

that's EXACTLY why Pocono gets 2 dates at the moment..

once they can get a track built in NYC or surrounding area, Pocono will be down to 1 date (thank god for small favors!)

It's about time to see "Fat Boy" in Victory Lane! When the weather heats up, so does he.

4 commercial breaks in the first 30 minutes of the race---- Not good
