#8 Georgia got beat by NC State, but #2 North Carolina, #4 Florida State and #6 Rice all won Game 1 of their respective super regionals.

LSU is trailing UC-Irvine in the 3rd 2-1.

The Miami and Cal State-Fullerton games don't start until 6:30, and Arizona State doesn't get started until 8pm.

Ags brought in Yoakum grad, Travis Starling in the 7th to pitch (3rd pitcher for the night) - with 0 outs and 2 men on base...... - he gets out of the inning unscaved..... score still Ags 5 Owls 4 in the 8th inning

A lot of usual suspects going to Omaha so far...

Stanford, North Carolina, Miami, Georgia and Florida State have all clinched spots in the CWS.

And Rice became the 6th team to qualify just a few minutes ago....

I really wanted to see Lucas pitch last night. Had him warming up in both games and never got in. He got drafted again, by the Brewers. Hope he makes it. Good kid.. Too bad about Jess and the injury this season. He would have made them even stronger. Good luck to the Owl's in the CWS....
