Kind of like posting in empty space. This could be the ultimate
post padding thread about nothing.

Post padding? LOL, look at my post count and how long I have been around!

The tread showed up with all xxxxx or something like that. I edited it to nothing. It worked!

I'm glad you posted here. I have a medical question for you
and I didn't want to take away from the other thread.

I had a herniated naval since birth. The doctors told my mother
not to worry about it unless it started bothering me. It never
did. I'm 37 now.

Well, when I had the gall bladder surgery the surgeon took the
liberty of fixing it while he was in there. I didn't complain or
say anything. My question is this typical and why is it important
to have fixed?

me too....

but I think I like it...we should have these black abyss threads more often.

I know, if there is a thread that is just getting on everyone's nerves, they could take away the title or....

maybe they could leave the title and just keep taking away all the posts...

My mind works in evil, mysterious ways. :D

It's a fairly common occurrence in the general population. The main risk would be that you would have an increased chance of developing an umbilical hernia (where your intestines poke out through the area where your navel is) because the herniated navel constitutes a weak spot in the abdominal wall. It's good that they repaired it during the gallbladder surgery because the incision from the surgery itself would make that area even weaker.

Well thank you for explaining it and my surgeon for fixing it.:)
