At Disch-Falk Field, Thursday June 4th:

12:00 p.m. : Texarkana Pleasant Grove vs. Medina Valley

3:00 p.m. : Snyder vs. Hutto

The State Championship game will be held Thursday June 5th @ 12:00 p.m.


Not sure who the home teams are??

No, not usually. I know that the Rockdale station KRXT has in the past when Hutto has had deep runs in the playoffs in football and baseball. They usually try to get local Hutto businesses to help cover the costs.

No, they didn't. But KMIL out of Cameron covered the Hutto/Taylor series. But I think it was mainly for Taylor!!

Why isn't the tournament being played at Dell Diamond in Round Rock as it was last year?

4A & 5A have been at Dell the past several years, as will be the case again this year.

The reason 3A and below was also at Dell Diamond last year was that Disch-Falk was undergoing renovations

Just 3A is being played @ Disch-Falk. All other classifications are being played @ Dell Diamond. 3A has usually been played @ the Disch??

As you can tell, K-MAC Sports & 3ADL are hoping to broadcast a state game for baseball on 3ADL..

Right now..
*Waiting to hear from Hutto on a possible broadcast
*Snyder already has a broadcast crew, as does Texarkana Pleasant Grove
*And I'm assuming the same radio station that broadcast the Medina Valley softball semifinal will be there for the baseball team

Will provide an update tomorrow at Noon-ish

Text messages cost about a dollar and if I dont get the internet broadcast, my phone bill will be about 2000.00 this month from the text updates.

I just talked to my neice, who is a Senior @ Hutto. She said they started finals today. Wednesday they have 2 Finals, the last one should end around noon. Austin is less than a 30 minute drive. Student body should arrive well before the 1st pitch @ 3:00 p.m.

I seen the Tigers play at the San Antonio tourny and they really impressed me, I've also seen Hutto play and the pitchers I seen could throw well but they weren't really strong on hitting.Best of luck to both teams!
