Great News UT fans!

I know we all could use some good news with the Spurs losing out last night and Sinton getting beat by Medina Valley but there is some good news today. UT now has picked up two good defensive tackles for the 2009 class. They had a great class already but I was concerned about DT. They already had a verbal from SA's Calvin Howell but they got another one today from Derek Johnson from Hoxie, Arkansas. This is great news since it now gives us two good DTs in this class. Derick used to live in El Paso, TX so it is not like he is really an Arkansas native.

This is great. We needed some good news today and we got it.

What makes it extra good news is that Arkansas was interested in him and he already had offers from Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Hey G$$ UT also got some top golf recruits for this year and the top one in 2009. Good new indeed. It looks like the Men and Women's ADs along with Coach Brown and other coaches got together to discuss turning around that State Farm Lone Star Showdown. Good news indeed.
