but i will admit the lakers were the better team this year

The Spurs proved this series why they are the best franchise in the league. Everybody (including me) was expecting them to gripe on Game 4 and dwell and talk about the conspiracy theories, blah blah blah. But they didn't even gripe immediately after Game 4. They were good enough of a team to realize that if they had to gripe on one call, they didn't do enough to WIN the game.


I was more impressed by watching how the Spurs lost than if they would have won. I still don't have it in me to call myself a Spurs fan, but my respect for them skyrocketed.
