Corpus Christi native Eva Longoria-Parker will return to one of her former jobs for one day only Tuesday.
.CORPUS CHRISTI — In a belted Juicy Couture sundress, TV actress Eva Longoria Parker wafted in through the back door of Wendy’s on 5934 South Padre Island Drive amid the smell of French fries.
The not-so-desperate housewife showed up at the fast food joint to serve Frosties to kick off the Father’s Day Frosty Weekend, an event to generate funds for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and its signature program ‘Wendy’s Wonderful Kids’ by donating 50 cents from every Frosty sold.
Longoria Parker, a former employee of the Wendy’s on Ayers from 1991 to 1994, drove into town Tuesday in a chic white Escalade.
While patrons snapped photos on camera phones, Longoria Parker’s friends and family—including mother Ella, sister Emily and niece and newborn nephew—visited at a window-side table. Ella Longoria said the group planned to drive back to San Antonio Tuesday afternoon to watch her son-in-law Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs play against the LA Lakers.
