Looking forward to Saturday's game. Don't think I can handle the trip to SA with this knee. Just going to the doctor today wore me out. :( It is very uncomfortable sitting in the car with a bum knee.

Okay prediction time. How will this series turn out. 2 game sweep or goes to 3. Don't know nothing about MV other than Cuero gave em all they wanted. Sinton got the pitching depth ,defense and hitters and obviously so does MV. Homer pick Sinton in 3.:D

Game experience is game experience, no matter what class they're in. You get tougher opponents in 4A. You also seem to forget this same Sinton team faced the defending State Champ in the semis last year. Sinton is in no way short on big game experience against tough opponents. It may well go three games, but Sinton is capable of taking it.

True, but early in the year and Sinton traditionally never wins many games early in the year because of mainly competition level getting people in the right places and just getting the kids ready for district and the play-offs. Not saying they'd beat those teams now but they're playing much better now than earlier in the year. And besides just because Cuero lost to MV don't mean Sinton will. This ain't football partner this is baseball and in baseball Sinton rules region 4. :D

I will say this, Sinton has not lost to a 3A team yet. MV lost 1 game to Bandera and the other to 4A Kerrville Tivy. All 5 of Sinton's losses are to Calallen, Moody, and CC Carroll in predistrict. Both of Sinton's 2 top pitchers are undefeated thus far. That should tell you that Calallen, Moody, and CC Carroll did not see our best pitching efforts. Sinton coaches do this intentionally to bring along younger pitchers. They already know what the seasoned vets can do.

I think once you're down to the final eight in the state, any one of them is capable of going the distance. I wouldn't sell any of them short.

Sinton plays these type of teams year in and year out in non-district. They don't fatten up on a bunch of 2A schools.
