Good lord....he graduated in December and in May won a Big XII title!

me too. I figured they wouldnt run him this year so he could have the next 4 years to run but this half year counted as one of his years of eligibility for track

From what i heard about Baylor's spring game, Kirby Freeman better hope that Griffin makes the Olympic team, if he wants much playing time. :thinking:

you beat me to the post....I saw that yesterday skimming through the results..........that is pretty impressive...congrats to him...met him his jr. year at a basketball tourney....very polite and well manner young man.....it was a shock when i read he was kicked out the brownwood game...I had seen him play a few other times..and thought he handle himself well on the field.

A. Is a world class track athlete, why risk injury?

B. Wasn't that great of a football player anyways, he didn't want to take a hit from HS linebackers. Don't see him going against the OU and UT linebackers of the world.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone thought so poorly of as what you guys think of Griffin on the football field!
