How safe is/was your school?

How safe do you think your school is/was? You'll have to define safe on your own! I guess it could be related to fights, guns, drugs, etc... I'm just curious to see what people think about the safety of their schools.

People in my school think they are hardcore gangsters, then you remind them they live in Forney.

I could smell marijuana in the bathroom across from my classroom today. One of my students (8th grader) was stabbed Saturday night. We definitely have a gang problem.

I have gangster wanna be boys and girls....but I can make them cry in a heartbeat!

We have kids that claim to be gangster then they got to say a football game in Killeen and are TERRIFIED.So in closing every person in Cameron is all talk and only bother with people that are also all talk.

umm there could very easily be something tragic at my school... security isn't very good could basically sneak anything you want into the school and well you get the point...

Well, they've surrouned my old high school with a fence and added some sort of security officer, I think. Things weren't that bad when I was there.

We had a couple (2) of bomb threats this year and the wanna be gangsters.

It's usually not the gangsters who call in the bomb threats, it's who me and my friends refer to as the "fighters".

The gangsters just walk slow and randomly stop in the hallways.

My how times have changed. We all carried pocket knives that would shave hair off your arm, and most of us had a rifle or two on gun racks in the back windows of our pickups and a pistol or two under the seat. And mine were always fully loaded. Couldnt very well stop and kill a deer on the roadside with an empty gun.

At Wylie we have gangs too. There are mainly 2. There are the Polo gang, and the Hilfiger gang. One time this group of Hilfigers caught a Polo guy all by himself and held him down and messed his hair up really bad. Then they gave him a hairdo that was totally out of style. That's right!! He was gang-styled! I heard it was awful. :D :D

our school has cameras inside and outside the school...also heard starting next year they will have an officer on campus 24/7...which means during school hours:D

I heard they were in 10-day ISS for wearing the collars of their polo shirts down instead of up....totally uncool. :doh:

Well, so far we've been able to keep them out. The big gang that we are worried most about are the "Mixers". This band of rogue fellas are most well known for wearing like a Hilfiger shirt and CK shorts or pants. They are just in blatant disregard for any type of style. They are the really dangerous ones. :doh: :doh: :eek:
