I was not all that impressed. However, he was just a soph. and yes...I know that you Cuero fans will say that was the worst your team has played all year.

Our defense was on its "A" game that night so what I saw wasn't much. But there were flashes of quality in there. It will be interesting to see how he develops over the next two years.

Not the worse, it was just a combination of things. We hadn't played a team as good as ya since we played Liberty Hill, we made to many costly error's against a quality team like ya. The best team definatley won that night. I imagine that the 1st game ya played against Waco some of your good player's where not to impressive either, and by the way the 1st interception difinatley was not an interception (not that it changed the game just was a bad call). I dont think you can judge an athlete by only seeing him play once. One thing about it we have 2 more years to watch him play and see is is right. By the way he probally is a better baseball player.

We had the privilege of reading about this young man the entire season. Just reading how well he did (for the most part) and the fact that he had some pretty big shoes to fill, I thought he did a fantastic job myself!!

Major didn't make it. Some other coach came instead. Oh, well.

To find a soph with leadership qualities plus a great deal of talent is a prize for any school to have. You might add pride in there also. Call it Gobbler Pride. Go Tyler:D :D :D

iI fully agree with most of the comments here but lets not forget the ten other guys out there that work their hind ends off to make a team. you also have a lot of varsity players that mostly scrimmage to make the gobblers to be what they really are, a TEAM. They are teamwork personified and the whole town is behind them. SO GO GOBBLERS
