Just an FYI that the complete schedules for all 177 teams that will be competing in 3A this coming Fall are now posted in the thread that is stickied at the top of the page and I've made direct links to each of the district pages below.

Thanks to everybody who contributed to this very tedious project!

I will be going back to make note of Thursday and Saturday games and also will try to find a way to indicate games that will be played at neutral locations. Let me know of any known changes or errors that are found and I will correct them.

I'm pretty sure that last year there was not a single game played between a Region I-3A team and a Region III-3A team (this includes all non-district games and all playoff games).

This year there are 18 games scheduled between those same two Regions!

In the 2008 schedule every possible combination of matchups between different regions is represented at least once ranging from Region II facing Region III in 21 different games down to Region II facing off against Region IV only once.

Region II vs Region III (21 games)
Dallas Roosevelt vs Waco La Vega
Alvarado vs Robinson
Ferris vs Fairfield
Kaufman vs Chapel Hill
Commerce vs Gladewater
Crandall vs Fairfield
Alvarado vs Waco Connally
Emory Rains vs Gilmer
Quinlan Ford vs Chapel Hill
Emory Rains vs Brownsboro
Kemp vs Brownsboro
Wills Point vs Athens
Van vs Rusk
Van vs Palestine
Wills Point vs Brownsboro
Van vs Spring Hill
Mount Vernon vs Gladewater
Atlanta vs Carthage
Liberty-Eylau vs Gilmer
Atlanta vs Tatum
Pleasant Grove vs Gladewater

Region I vs Region III (18 games)
Brownwood vs Waco La Vega
Abilene Wylie vs Waco La Vega
Iowa Park vs Robinson
China Spring vs Fairfield
Gatesville vs Mexia
China Spring vs Mexia
Gatesville vs Cameron
West vs Lorena
China Spring vs Robinson
Gatesville vs Fairfield
West vs Groesbeck
Whitney vs Lorena
China Spring vs Groesbeck
Gatesville vs Connally
Hillsboro vs Lorena
West vs Mexia
Llano vs Rockdale
Llano vs Taylor

Region I vs Region II (13 games)
Decatur vs Dallas Madison
Iowa Park vs Argyle
Burkburnett vs Argyle
Decatur vs Gainesville
Bridgeport vs Prosper
Vernon vs Argyle
Burkburnett vs Gainesville
Decatur vs Argyle
Bridgeport vs Argyle
Decatur vs Prosper
Wichita Falls Hirschi vs Gainesville

Region I vs Region IV (8 games)
Liberty Hill vs Giddings

Region III vs Region IV (7 games)
Robinson vs Giddings

Splendora vs Stafford
Splendora vs Needville
Caldwell vs Bellville
Bryan Rudder vs Brookshire Royal
Navasota vs Bellville

Region II vs Region IV (1 game)
Celina vs Lytle

There are some pretty high-profile matchups between powerhouses this coming season and these are games that potentially could end up being rematches played in the State Semifinals or State Finals.

In the past 30 years no 3A State Championship has been a rematch of a game played earlier in the season but there have been 3 Semifinals played that were rematches:

In 1988 Southlake Carroll shutout Decatur both in week 5 and again in week 15
In 1992 Southlake Carroll did it again beating
Gainesville in both week 2 and week 15
and the most recent occurrence was in 1997 when Sealy beat La Grange in both week 4 and week 15

I've proofread and doublechecked all schedules and have added in the location of neutral site games.

Please let me know of any errors as it is possible that my sources could be wrong or schedules could have changed.

I also indicated Thursday and Saturday games very clearly. If a particular game is not listed as occurring on Thursday or Saturday, it can be assumed that it will be played on Friday evening.

I was looking at the schedule for 28AAA. You have Gonzales with 4 home district games on the schedule. That would be cool this year, but that would make next season somewhat distasteful with four road games. I suspect there is an error there somewhere, but to be honest with you I don't know where it is.

3-2A? Or 2-3A? If you're looking for District 2 schedule for 3A, I noticed that Region I Editor has them on the home page.

Most internet browsers will automatically shrink images down to fit on the screen that you are viewing. Try moving the cursor over the image and if it shows a plus sign (+) this means that the image has been decreased in size to fit your screen. You can just click the mouse anywhere over the image and it should expand to its original size.

I dont know if anyone has notice but every team in District 2-3A is a playoff team lol. This is probably the best district depth-wise in the state.
