I was really hoping that Bandera would make it to play China Spring, so my Hicks receiver could legitamize my claims to how good he was by showing it on the other Hicks receiver. However, from what I heard, we fell apart in the second half against Reicher. I will be coaching the defense later in the year, but not until graduation is up and all of that junk is out of the way.

The Bandera Hicks receiver is a great player. Rockdale was up by a point with a minute left. Bandera had 2 straight incompletions and on 3rd down Hicks ran a wheel route and made a diving grab at Rockdale's goal line. They scored a couple of plays later and gave Rockdale it's first loss.

Congrats to the teams that advanced and we look forward to the next tourney........

Couple weeks ago some Rockdale person was on here saying how they should've beaten us in the first round of playoffs this year and how they were the better team and all that junk. Watz4dinner took it kinda hard so that's why. Lol.

Saw both Hicks' Saturday and although Bandera's Hicks is a good player he's not in the league of Mike Hicks who was by far the best player in the tournament...he was just unreal on both sides of the ball....

Also heard Reicher's QB decided to get in a little altercation with Mike. Good thing one of our coaches told Mike to just leave because he would've seriously gone after Cluely later in the game. You don't mess with that guy. When he's competitive, there is fire in his blood.

Yeah Cluley kind of got in a cheap shot on Hicks and Hicks got after him a bit..coaches kept em apart quick though....Cluley is a pretty good sized kid too..I woulda paid to see those 2 go at it LOL
