I'm not a hardcore Mavs fan...I watched maybe 5 minutes of the 40 minutes (it was over midway through the 3rd of Game 1) they spent in the NBA playoffs this year. Personally I would've rather seen them miss the playoffs and get a draft pick. I hate the Spurs A LOT MORE than I like the Mavs. But thanks for playing...

In Sweetwater??? Probably about 12 of 'em...

I grew up watching the Celtics and Bulls and whomever else was on TV. I saw the Rockets and Spurs as much as I saw the Mavs. I liked the Rockets...I liked David Robinson, Sean Elliott, etc. Not as big of a fan of the current Spurs players. So keep your laughing...hating on the Mavs doesn't bug me all that much. I'll watch the NBA if the Mavs are playing well...otherwise I'm not really that into it. Doesn't mean I won't hate on the Spurs though! :p

scoop jackson said it best on 1st and 10...if this is a two point game does west do the same thing?... west will play in game 7 he probably isnt hurt that bad...

It's a legal play...but he took an intentional shot at him. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Oh...and just because I don't follow the NBA doesn't mean that I don't hear it on talk radio, see it on ESPN, the front page of Yahoo Sports...kind of hard to miss.

I didn't either...I just said "those at the game." I wouldn't put Dallas fans on a "bad list" relative to other cities. IMO, they're just as likely to turn on their own team as they are the opponent. Troy Aikman said it best a few weeks ago, "Dallas isn't a great sports town. It's a great winning town. When you're winning it's the best sports town in the world." Having lived here for 3 years now I can't begin to say how true this is. There's nothing more frustrating than going to a Stars game and watching the fans turn on the team when they have a bad period or game. It's a damn shame...

cuz as I said earlier...I don't follow the NBA. If something is brought up in the press...maybe I'll give it a few minutes of my time. I don't actively watch basketball. Am I more informed than most? Yes but that's because I read more than most...and as a result see some basketball info in the mix. And yes...as I've said before...I don't like the Spurs so if they're shown in a negative light I'll pay more attention.
