Playstation 3 internal memory card question.

Can anyone help. I tried calling Sony and ended up in a never
ending loop of automated operators.:(

Well, I bought a playstation 2 poker game from Hastings because
I wanted to learn how to play something besides Texas hold'em.
I didn't realize until I got home that it was a used game.:doh:

I began playing it. I saved it. Later I tried to load it from the
memory card and it said the data was corrupted. I go to the
memory card to delete the file and it won't delete and says there
was an error when trying to do so and it duplicated the corrupt
file. I try to delete one of those nad it shows the same error
and it duplicates it again. So, now I have three corrupt files.:mad:


I get frustrated. I take the game out. I put in another ps2 game.
when trying to load that game it says the memory is corrupt for
that game's file.

I take that game out and delete the internal memory card and
everything on it. I then try to create a new internal memory
card for PS2 and when it gets to the point of naming it I hit
enter. The screens says "Okay" like it has been created. I hit X
and it takes me back to the point of naming it again. It simply
won't create a new card.

The PS3 games save and load just find. It's just the internal
memory card for PS2 that isn't working.:(

Hmm...haven't seen that problem before. I would go the Sony forums for ps3. I had a problem a while back and posted it there...had an answer within minutes. That was easier than trying their tech support...who I've yet to hear back from 6 months later.

That is really weird. I have the 60gb and it has never done that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I hope yours gets worked out.

If it is 3-2 Monday the bet is this...

Detroit wins: You have to use "my" Red Wing signature as yours.
Also you have to put what ever player I chose as your avatar.
You have to keep both of them until the Stanley Cup Finals are
over.

Dallas wins: I will use your sig as mine and put the player of
your choice as my avatar until the SC finals are over.

Or do you want to wait and see if there is going to be a game
