Saw this question on another board, lets see what you folks have to say.
Fathers and sons.
Anyone ever tried to whip thier father?
What was the cause and how did it turn out?

Got Close once. My dad and I got into an arguement about my wife. It was definetly stupid. So he says this is my house. And of course I say, and I do not have to be here unless this is a prison and in that case you are the one in trouble, I just came to visit.

I then proceed to walk out and he blocks the path. If both our wives had not stopped us well......

I think there must be some DNA triggered psychological block that won't allow you to kick your Dads azz even if you could.
My oldest brother was an NAIA All American linbacker and the only person I've ever actually been afraid of in my life. But when he bowed up to my Dad, he always got thrashed. In Vegas the old man would have been a 10-1 underdog even though he was 6'5" and 280. Bones were broke and furniture got busted, but the old man always won out.

Well my mom died when I was 9. I have never liked my dad's choice after that. And it is not stepmom. I was raised by my grandparents. He just picks squirrely women.

Need a moms view here
Ranger MOM where are you when you are needed
I think that really
It's gonna happen sooner or later
in most cases ......

between the age of 13-20 sometime later

and most times it ends the same

Maybe its just a country thing that some folks don't get.........

None of my boys have tried to fight their dad (or my husband).

My husband has had to break up my boys fighting though and one time grabbed one of them and pulled really hard to get them apart and inadvertently slammed his (my sons) head in the wall!
