looks like Medina Valley came back in the last inning and scored 2 runs to win 4-3.. darn it......

I was kind of hoping for the upset here. Looked like a good game.

Medina Valley looked good. Very sound defensively. Keller walked 4, had 7 Ks, gave up 6 hits & 3 earned runs.

Carmichael for Yoakum, had 6 Ks, 0 BBs, gave up 7 hits & 3 earned runs.

The only inning Yoakum was able to get more than one hit in was the inning they scored their 3 runs. They'd get runners on & then Keller would shut it down.

Will be very surprised if Yoakum can bounce back after that kind of defeat. Same thing happened to 'em last year against MV. May now be a mind thing.

Oops, forget to say HOW MV won. LOL

Trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th. 8, 9, 1 up for MV. 8 hole basehit to LF, 9 hole sac bunt; 1 out, runner in scoring position, 1 hole soft liner to the right of SS runner advances to 3rd. Runners at the corners with Proctor up to bat, first pitch swinging and she rips to right center...game over!
