I like Bwood just fine and i would have no problem with them being 10-0 going into the playoffs, but there is a part of me that wants them to blasted and beat up. Ill grant you this if they get beat get ready we wont hear the end of it.

I don't think so. They have a tough schedule - both pre-district and district. If they make it through the regular season at 10-0, I would definitely be surprised..............and a little worried.

I have always liked Brownwood, too. And I would prefer that they didn't go in to the playoffs 10-0 and actually do not think they will go 10-0.
But, they may make the playoffs.:thinking:

I'm going to go out on a limb here:doh: and make a prediction. I'm willing to bet anybody and everybody any amount of $$$$$ that both Brownwood and Liberty Hill will not go 10-0: LOL :D :D

On a more serious note. I didn't think anybody in the state had a tougher schedule than Abilene Wylie until I saw Brownwoods schedule. I'm not saying it's tougher than Wylie's but it's everybit as difficult. Having said that I would say that the Lions will not go 10-0. If they go 7-3 and made the playoffs I would consider them a serious contender. Keeping key players healthy through the end of the year will be a key:doh: as if it's not for everyone.

We would love to be 10-0 come playoffs but it is probally not gonna happen. With the schedule we have, a loss or two would not be a huge surprize.. Remember, Stephenville is on our schedule and they are always very very tough as less at the strong 3A schools we play.


Hope we are 10-0 but probally not.

Sorry RWB. I just got word that Snyder tracked down a RB who
is a three star prospect living in California. Apparently his dad
drove through Snyder once back in 1995 which makes the kid
eligible to move to Snyder and start on varsity next year.

Otherwise, I'd have Graham finishing above Snyder.:thumbsup:

I was just pointing out that I guess I should feel bad that a Sweetwater person would think that we will finish behind Snyder. Sorry if you Snyder folks took it that way!!!

I see 10-0 as a real possibility. Yes Brownwood has a very challenging schedule, but only two of those very difficult games are on the road: At Liberty Hill and at Abilene Wylie. Playing at home can prove to be a big advantage especially at a tradition rich school like Brownwood.
