And three from District 21-3a, Bridge City, Hardin-Jefferson, and Jasper. Think about it, of eight teams left, six are from just two districts.

Region 3

All these games are toss ups:eek:

LH (I'm a homer)
HJ (Strength of District will be the difference)
Hutto (18AAA homer)
Jasper (They've already proven they can win a 1 game series)

Last week i was 7 for 8:nerd:

I know Jasper is the reigning Class 3A state champion, but Bridge City has beaten them twice this year in district play. I am pulling for Bridge City.

Of course, in region 2, I am pulling for Gilmer to win over our neighbor Pittsburg. The boys on both teams know their opponents well, having played them since Little League in summer ball.

Next year we get to be part of the scramble in Region III, but for this year, I hope we get to play a Division III opponent in Disk-Faulk. But that is looking ahead.

All Regional Quarterfinal games are completed.

Some big things happened this weekend:
-Pittsburg beating Gilmer in a big shocker
-After two consecutive trips to state tournament, Abilene Wylie is knocked out
-In a 21-3A matchup #3 seed Jasper knocks off #1 seed Bridge City and in a 18-3A matchup #3 seed Taylor knocks off #1 seed from Liberty Hill
-No surprises in Region 4 semi-finals. All four teams have been ranked all year long.
