Scuba diving, swimming with whales....

I am looking for anyone who has done some of this stuff before. I am trying to help a friend find a good scuba diving place(in texas) to take her boy friend. Sea World is possible but I am not so sure if their stuff is worth the money.
If anyone could help out... any ideas at all, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but if they want great scuba diving in/around Texas tell them to look into the Flower Gardens out in the Gulf of Mexico. It's probably best to be somewhat experienced before heading that far out, but if they are, check out this website. (http://www.fishndivers.com/ )

Go to just about any good dive shop. There is always a number of trips being organized to lots of places, especially throughout the summer. Check some of their scuba magazines. They will have all kinds of websites and contacts to get into an organized trip.
