we did that at Giddings last year...we would have had the AirEvac but it got called out on a real emergency

So that's what is going on. I was washing some clothes and saw two ambulances and some police cars go toward the high school around 830.

Very emotional and moving experience!! Five or six students dead with parents having to follow halo flight and ambulences to hospitals to identify bodies. Funeral and memorial service today at High School. Very eye opening and hopefully opens the students eyes to the dangers of drinking and driving.

My fiancee helped with the event in Mathis earlier in the year. The sad thing is that the very kids who were laughing and mocking the demonstration got in an alcohol-related car accident at the intersection of I37 and 359 later that day. I believe there was a fatality with one of the innocent drivers hit by the drunk driver.
