Regional Editors for 2008-2009

We have Regions 3 and 4 open for coordinator/Editors. Region 1 is also looking for help. Anyone wanting consideration for these, please send me a pm.

We will probably begin trying to build regional networks to feed info to the Editors starting in late May, early June, so get your pm's in if you can contribute in any way.

They do the region pages on the website. We give them edit capability to post teams, schedules, pick a regional game of the week, etc. Works best if you recruit some folks to feed info to the coordinator.

C'mon people, several of you have griped for the years that there wasn't a website, but now you don't want to step up to the plate to help MAINTAIN the part of the site that you were griping about :p So come on, step right on up.. The editing is simple, you're already used to it, as it's based directly off of the forum for editing! Without some recruits, it would be just as easy to kill off the www website portion, something we DON'T want to do.

given all of the talk that goes on on this board, it's amazing there hasn't been a region 1 or 3 vol. yet

Region III has several folks who have stepped up to the plate and agreed to do district previews. Many thanks to all of you! Your help is greatly appreciated! :2thumbsup Hopefully someone will take on the rest of the responsibilities. :)

I will contribute whatever I can for Reg III. I don't know alot about the majority of the region considering that Gilmer is approximately 22,879 miles from the southernmost school in Reg III (Nice call UIL!). I can help you with whatever you need from District 17, and I can offer you very biased opinions of every other district which will contain only conjecture and no information that I am able to support with actual facts or research. Sound good?:D

Yeah I don't get that either but when you look at the way they set it up it was clear that they did not want anymore 4 or 5 team districts and they did what they had to to make it work. To me it's worth it because the 3-7 teams won't have a chance. The playoffs ought to be better for every round.

Very true. But some very good teams are going to go home very early in Reg III.
