This alignment study is on the UIL website. What do you think? Is it worth trying?

Whats the difference. we would be in the same district regardless. I sure Breckenridge likes it.

might be same for your district but changes a LOT of other districts up!

Here's what I can't seem to understand. You take the playoff teams in each region. The top 8 in enrollment are Div. 1 and the other 16 are Div. 2.

Simple.

Why isn't this an option?

price of fuel could bankrupt small districts that already feel the pinch in other programs? bad bad.. great on paper but bad bad...:(

 makes me wonder now if this would've happen during playoff season were they gonna allow 4 teams to advance like in Class 5A 2 from each divison

You're looking at 2 districts in the same region that could have every team in Div 1 though...and that's just screwed up.

Because that doesn't eliminate small teams from playing large teams in district.

It would be nice to play someone our size instead being placed in a group where we're the smallest by 200-300 students. I'll agree with that.

I think it works well for 5a where you have schools playing another school that may have more than double their enrollment...i dunno about other levels though...on a side note, Liberty would never make the playoffs again if they got put in the district they have them in on there...
