I went to the Minute Maid Park, tonight and saw a great game-- it ended
Astros 12 and Cubs 8. Can you believe that there were 26 hits in the ball game. Sammy "Corky" Soza did not even get on base...The big hitter for tne Astros was Jeff Kent.

Why are there so many Cubs fans in Houston? I don't get it. Are there as many Cubs fans in Atlanta, LA, Arizona? I'm impailed on the horns of dilemma.

How big of a lead does that give the Astros?

I think they were 1/2 games ahead of the Cubs going into the game; so since they played the Cubs, I would assume that they lead by 1 and 1/2 games now....MAC:I will try to make some volleyball games--please post their schedule somewhere, we all are pulling for the Volleyball teams too..

There are a lot of transient workers in the houston area. Lots of business people that have moved here from other areas. That's why there are sooooo many cubs, braves, and yankees fans at the games.
