Correct. There are no local feeds for any team in the Con Finals or Stanley Cup rounds.

Is there any chance Razor is doing the TV for Versus? He did a game every Wednesday night during the regular season...at least I'd have half of the best broadcasting tandem in sports.

lockout...the contract expired, and without a season, ESPN didn't want to pick it up. Since ESPN was still uncertain about the sport when the reached an agreement, they wanted to cut back on the amount of money that they had paid in the previous television contract. So Versus and NBC swooped in and paid the NHL's asking price while ABC and ESPN were looking for discounts.

They also wanted to put the games on ESPN2, and surround them with non hockey content.

I think so.

There is an article on dallasnews.com about the series. They said the most recognizable name in hockey will be doing this series, and razor sounds familiar

Yeah, but it's not as if ESPN has a postgame show for every basketball or baseball game it does either...and people watch ESPN2...I still think the NHL would have been better off there.

" Mike Emrick, considered by most to be hockey's preeminent play-by-play voice, and analyst Eddie Olczyk, will call the Stars-Red Wings series for Versus."

Guess that's a no for Razor...
