Eight Belles Breaks Ankles, Euthanized

Eight Belles, trying to become the first filly to win the Kentucky Derby in 20 years, broke both front ankles during today's race and was immediately euthanized afterwards.

After she finished 2nd in the Derby, very sad.

That was sad, part of the deal I guess in horse racing. Very sad & felt sorry for all involved.
