This is going to be a scary game. I hope the Spurs can at least get a split in these first two games. New Orleans has home court advantage. This is going to be difficult indeed.

Phil if the Spurs sought some R&R and were thinking about heading to port isabel/south padre area, where could they find some good music?

DD a good place would be at the Pelican West Band's place in South Padre Island, Texas. It is located just south of the Radisson Hotel. Great music. Also they are Spurs fans.

Spurs are gonna have their hands full with the Hornets. Should be a great series!

What is more scary is that Sportswriter S.E. Skeets has already predicted that the Hornets would win in 7. We also have to remember is that New Orleans easily beat San Antonio twice during the regular season. :(

David West will learn it's not so easy scoring when Erick Dampier is guarding you.

If the Spurs were to be NBA champions this year it would be remarkable. For one thing they will not have home court advantage throughout the playoffs if they have to play New Orleans, LA or Boston.

Hopefully the Spurs will do better in game 2.

I still think the Spurs will win this series. I think Parker & CP3 are a push. I like the Spurs big men better, and I think the Spurs have a significant advantage in coaching.

Duncan will not play that poorly in the next game.

Wow. Some KY, please.

The Hornets looked tons more athletic than us last night. Let's hope we can turn it around and Timmy D, Oberto, and the rest of our bigs can make life tougher in the paint for the rest of the series.

The Spurs nearly always have at one and sometimes 2 flat games in a series. This was just one of those games. Tim and Oberto will step it up in the paint, and more shots will fall. Nobody said it would be easy, and sure aint gonna be. I think the series goes at least 6 now, and could go 7. But in the end, the Spurs championship experience and poise should win out. They kindof need to win game 2 now, but it's not going to be a huge deal if they dont. When it all comes down to getting it done or go home in 6 or 7, they will find a way to win. That's what they do.

I hope you are right Stang. Spurs need to win game 2 tomorrow night though or else they will be in trouble. If they do win they would have done what was mainly needed in getting the split in New Orleans in the first two games. I look for the Spurs to make a better effort tomorrow.
