Best show on TV right now. All other "reality" shows not on Discovery should just cancel themselves

That is a great show. Deadliest Catch and The Office are the only two shows that are set up to record on my DVR.

deadliest catch is an awesome show...i know i couldnt stand out in those temeratures soaking wet doing what they do

they make some good chunks of change though...

The top boat one season each crew member made $25k, the lowest was 10k which is still a lot.

well didnt the northwestern i think maybe last season got about 45k because they fished for cod and opy's? or maybe it was 25 not sure

I forgot what channel, maybe the history, is about to premiere a new show that takes place on an oil rig over the course of a few months. I cant think of the name though! anyone know?

i watched an episode last week, so sure it was re run and the boat had to throw back last pods of crab they were at their limit and each crew member raked in 90,000 apiece...and i rewound it with my dvr to make sure i heard correct....90,000 apiece.....brown crab maybe..not sure what kind but...90,000 apiece.....

That's just the hands. The captains probably make double that.:thinking:

and let's remember that this is over a period of weeks, not a year...

I love this show....I think it is Alaskan King Crab that brings in the big $$$.

Funny that I would like it so much, because it is basically the same thing over and over. They set out the pods, they pick them up and they get hit by alot of big waves. Occasionally, you get to see someone throw a temper tantrum...those are usually pretty good. I think it is just watching the amazing force of those seas:cool:

I DVR Ellen daily, but think I will add this one as someone mentioned above.:thinking:
