Craig Boatwright, a Senior def. lineman #87, died this morning after he collapsed at school. There will be a candle light vigil at 7:30 tonight at the High School. The Homecoming ceramony has been postponed untill Oct. 31, we will however have the game tomorrow night.
Please keep Craig, his family, freinds, Everman I.S.D. and our community in your prayers.

God Bless

I am shocked and stunned to hear this! His family will be in my prayers. Such a tragedy! He had great size and ability...wasn't he set up for playing at TCU? I'm sorry to hear this...

The thoughts and prayers of the Burnet community are with the family of this young man. Such a loss is a sobering reminder that we are all here for such a short time. May God give the family and the Everman community peace. God Bless...

This is hard to take. I hurt inside as I know all of Everman must. Lightening strikes twice in the same place. I hope this is the end of bad news about Everman's and anyone else's players in the state.

Our prayers and condolences come out from Carter Riverside. This came as a shock to us also. Our athletic trainer recieved a fax and while I was in the training room, I over heard him telling our head coach.

Prayers from Aggieland...Man I feel terrible for the Everman community. Y'all have had enough tragedy. My wishes go to him, his family, and the entire community.
Keep strong...y'all are (from what I've seen) a great community.

I will keep you in our prayers and I really know it must be horrible...I feel sorry for the coach having to tell the about what happened....(the shock and horror hits you). Being a player it hits home because it brings the important things into perspective and how fragile life is...

May God Bless the Everman community and keep them in his loving arms. This is truly another tragic event to hit the same school. I will keep on praying and hope the kids will be strong and come together even closer. Condolences from the Sinton Pirate faithful.
