Three hurt in wreck near Forney

KAUFMAN COUNTY — Three people were hurt in an accident near Forney in Kaufman County late Tuesday night.
The service road along U.S. Highway 80 was closed at Windmill Farms Boulevard after a tractor-trailer crashed into two vehicles parked on the shoulder.
Three people were taken to hospitals by air ambulance. Their conditions are not available.
The truck was torn apart by the impact and its contents spilled out on the road.
Traffic was only minimally impacted by the wreck because it did not affect any of the main lanes of U.S. 80.
