He will be an assistant. He didn't show anything that would lead any owner to believe he can be a head coach. Any franchise that needs a new coach sucks right now, is Avery Johnson really going to turn a team into a contender?

A lot of people on here were saying it would be good if the Mavs made the playoffs. Well, the made the playoffs so I guess it's a good thing! Why would Cuban want to mess with a good thing?

They will still blow it up. Missing the playoffs would of only confirmed the mushroom could. Dirk was the last decent player they drafted.

Dirk, Jet, Kidd, Damp and Bass are the only people I would think will definitely be back next season.

I would be just fine with Avery and Howard gone. Stack would be an added bonus.

Howard will for sure be gone. I would not doubt if he was tanking on purpose just to be traded, you can tell he hates this organization now.
