yall do know that was some stuff stemming from earlier this season right? with Pujols pulling some serious BS and taking out JR Towles and then the next day Ausmus told him what he thought about it. Wainwright has great control and that was aimed at Ausmus.

I know about the Pujols stuff, and Backe jawed off to him the next day... tough call, ball tailed-off pretty good... dunno... you'd think it (hit batter) would have taken place that day... Astros didn't hit St. Lou, Cards didn't hit us... O hit one today and maybe St. Louis responded, maybe they didn't...

It's baseball & Tony LaRussa. We hit their catcher (LaRue) so they hit ours (Ausmus). Tit for tat. You don't hit a weak hitter like him unless it is intentional or got away. That was deliberate, purposely behind him. Be interesting to watch Backe pitch vs. them Sunday...

We had a few chances - Pence Ked in 9th w/ 2 on. Berkman did all he could w/ 2 HRs & walk. Tough game but let's win tomorrow & win series. I hate the Cards, Pujols, & LaRussa w/ a passion.

Bork walked leadoff batter in 9th & that spells doom. Just can't do that. Our pen scares me besides Brocail, Geary, Wright (done well for rookie), Byrdak, & Valverde seems to have righted ship. But Bork, Moehler & Villareal - ugh.
