Collies make great pets. I had 3 pure-bred ones growing up & loved all of them. Not border collies, the Lassie types. Very good with kids & families. All were pretty but the tri-color one was beautiful & distinct. Big too, almost 100 lbs. Best of luck & enjoy.

I'm telling you this----- She may not say it but she is going to pissed that you didn't incorporate her name into the puppies' name somehow. Example (refer to some of the above posts) if the girlfriends name is Rosey :doh: , then you should have named the dog Ross. And you should give her:thinking: something in return, maybe like some nice hand creme or something.:D :D

she actually helped me name it is between that or wrigley...like wrigley field..whats funny is two days ago we almost broke up

I'm a little concerned coach about you and your girlfriends relationship. I noticed that in two of the five pictures of the puppy it appeared that you were attempting to drowned the little rascal (that was a sink and a shower wasn't it?). And seeing that it was the last two kind of makes me think that you acted all happy and excited at first and then when she left..............................well:thinking: :doh: :D

actually the fart peed all over himself and with his white fur i had to clean him but yeah he woke me up 4 times last night so coah isnt on my good list right now

he has ppiddled 7 times since 8 this morning and only once was outside

we trained our puppy by taking him outside every hour or so and waiting until he went - and if he did start to go inside we would get his attention and take him out...

now he goes to the front door and barks if he needs out...it took about 3 months to get him completely trained....

border collies are super smart dogs, im sure he'll get the hang of it eventually....

My dogs always stayed outside until they got their little pee pee patch all set up....then when they were inside and needed to go, they wanted outside so they could go to their "spot!"

Invest in a good shock collar. You can make him pee anytime you want. Just take him outside and press the button. It's easy and very affective:2thumbsup and you get to pick the spot too.

Don't get all hyped up you animal rights people. I'm just kidding!:D

I have had dogs nearly my entire life and never once have any of them ever had a biological accident in my house. That maybe because I never let animals inside in the first place. Just a different viewpoint.
